This year’s Mother’s Day was spent differently. While we were used to celebrate it at home or somewhere else near for lunch, we opted to go farther and celebrate this special day at the Century City Mall.
During this event, guests feasted on a sumptuous buffet lunch prepared by The Creamery Catering. There was some cooking demo by Chef Edward from Philips Appliances which featured some of their advanced home appliances which every mom would enjoy.
A fun and creative bento making tips and ideas were also shared by Ms. Kaye of Bento Mommas. Creating a box of cool and cute food creations definitely encourages our chikitings to eat more and make their lunch boxes empty.
Ms. Abbie Yabot also talked about some do’s and don’ts of effective parenting especially during this generation of gadgets and advanced technology.
And of course, while moms become so busy taking care of the family, they should also take time to have a “me-time” to rejuvinate and recharge. So Avon Cosmetics was also there to give moms some quick and easy beauty tips and Dyson who showcased some of their state of the art hair dryers which will help busy moms beautify their maines in no time.
And to culminate our day at the Century City Mall, the Little Donya and I watched a live performance of Pinkfong and Baby Shark.

The show was very lively and upbeat which made everyone present – children and those who are child-at-heart – dancing and singing happily altogether.
